Penicillin is a modern classic created in the 2000s by bartender Sam Ross at the Pegu Club bar in New York. It combines smoky Scotch whisky with honey, ginger and lemon juice for a balanced and complex taste. The drink has quickly become popular thanks to its unique blend of sweet, sour and smoky. Penicillin is a great cocktail for whisky lovers and is perfect both as a winter drink and for special occasions.
