It combines dark rum with pineapple juice and Campari, creating a unique blend of sweetness and bitterness. Although not one of the most famous tiki drinks, Jungle Bird has won a loyal following thanks to its complex flavor profile. Ingredients

  • 45 ml dark rum
  • 20 ml Campari
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 45 ml pineapple juice
  • 10 ml syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • A pineapple slice or mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add the dark rum, Campari, lime juice, pineapple juice and sugar syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.
  4. Strain the drink into a lowball glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with a slice of pineapple or a sprig of mint.
